The 10 th Annual Mount Beauty Music Festival is fast approaching.

24 – 26 th April 2009

The weekend starts with a sensational Dinner on Thursday night (23 rd ) at the Mount Beauty Country Club, a taste tempting meal will be catered by local chefs, $45/head. Drinks will be available at low Club prices. Ruth Roshan and Tango Noir will provide the entertainment for you to dance the night away.

It is with pride that our members showcase the community spirit that exists in our region. This year, once again we ask you to indicate your availability to participate in the running of the Mount Beauty Music Festival 2009. Any contribution of your time is much valued and appreciated.

Please read the attached page and indicate in which area you would most like to volunteer. This years ticket for volunteers will be priced at $45, representing a discount of $35 per ticket on the Festival Gate Pass price. These tickets will be available for purchase from the Festival Ticket sales Co-ordinator or you can purchase them on line. www.musicmuster.org.au A commitment of at least 6 hours over the 3 days is expected.

The Festival finishes with a thank you party at Cranky Charlies on Sunday evening. This is exclusively for volunteers, artists and sponsors.

If you are unable to volunteer this year please pass this letter on to a friend whom you think would like to volunteer.

All volunteers will receive training and be allocated two complimentary drink vouchers, from their relevant co-ordinator, the vouchers are redeemable at Cranky Charlies.

Venues Co-ordinators: B Kiek, A Dupleix, M Hardman.

  • Venue Manager- taking care of the venue during the Festival
  • Master of Ceremonies- introducing and thanking the artists
  • Ticket scrutineers- generally work in pairs checking tickets as members of the audience enter the venue.

Festival Office Co-ordinator: Barb Pyle

  • Setting up office (before Festival) and dismantling office (after Festival)
  • Other admin duties

Ticket Sales Co-ordinator: Dennis Wykes

  • ticket sales at office just prior to and during the Festival. (2 hour shifts)

Décor Arrangement Co-ordinator: M Clooney

  • Assisting in the creation, construction and display of décor at festival venues

Set Up and Clean Up Venues Co-ordinator: G Meakin

  • Assisting with movement of tables, chairs etc

Provision of Billets Co-ordinator: S Gardiner

  • Are you able to accommodate an artist or two for the duration of the Festival.

Once you have indicated your commitment to volunteer, the relevant co-ordinator will contact you to discuss your availability regarding times and dates
The Ticket Sales Co-ordinator will then be notified of your commitment and then you will be able to purchase your discounted pass for $45.
